Basic student vaccinations

All students and staff should have been vaccinated against

  1. Tetanus

  2. Diphtheria

  3. Polio

  4. Measles

  5. Mumps

  6. Rubella

  7. Hepatitis B

Health Care Student vaccinations

All Health Care Students should also be vaccinated against:

  1. Hepatitis A

  2. Tuberculosis skin test (TST- Mantoux)

  3. Varicella (Chicken Pox)

  4. Influenza

Screening requirements

Health care students who perform 'Exposure Prone Procedures' should also be tested for the presence of:

  1. Hepatitis B

  2. Hepatitis C

  3. HIV

Animal care vaccinations

Students or staff who work with animals should also be vaccinated against:

  1. Q Fever
